Anime Astral Simulator updates

Astral Team schedules each Anime Astral Simulator update as a Roblox experience event, which means the release times are published by the studio before the update ships. This page reads them straight off that listing. No other site is currently publishing them.

Release times

All times are UTC, taken from each update's own event listing. The summary column is Astral Team's wording, not ours.

Version Opens (UTC) Studio's summary Status

Every earlier version

The table above only covers what Astral Team has scheduled. The history behind it comes from a second first-party source: the studio's own #game-logs channel, where the game owner posts full patch notes for every version and the old posts stay put — back to launch, with nothing missing. 26 versions in 84 days.

The headline column summarises the studio's notes rather than quoting them — several of those posts run to a few hundred lines. The dates and the version numbers are the studio's.

Two patterns worth knowing

Updates land at 20:15 UTC. Of the nine events on the feed today, eight open within forty seconds of that same clock time. If you want to be online for a drop, that is the minute to be there — 21:15 in London, 16:15 in New York, 13:15 on the US west coast.

The ninth is worth knowing about, because it is the shape a slip takes: Update 10 opened at 20:45, half an hour after the usual slot, and one of the four codes it shipped with reads SORRY4DEL4Y! — the studio's own comment on the delay, not ours. When the slot slips it slips later the same day; none of the nine opened early, and none moved to a different date.

Whole numbers bring a map, half numbers bring fixes. Every full version is labelled Systems + New Map + QOL and every half-version Systems + Bug Fix + QOL. Update 12 and Update 13 are both map updates; 11.5, 12.5 and 13.5 are not. That distinction is the studio's own, repeated across all nine listings without exception, so it is a fair guide to whether a given update is worth clearing inventory space for.

The game's badge list backs it up from the other side. Astral Team creates a badge for each new world, so a map update leaves a dated trace — four of them on 22 August, the day Update 11 opened. Update 11.5 created none, which is what a half-version is supposed to look like.

The gaps run three to four days, alternating: 22 August, 25th, 29th, 1 September, 5th, 8th. At that cadence a new map arrives roughly once a week.

What Update 11.5 changed

The studio titled it MINI UPDATE 11.5 QOL, and most of it is exactly that. One thing in it is not: a new progression system called the Hunter License, started by talking to the examiner in Zaban City.

It runs from a base license up to three stars, and each rank is a permanent boost that stacks with the last. The base license gives Power, one star adds XP, two stars adds Drop, three stars adds Luck. Astral Team's own note is that the boosts you already hold get stronger each time you rank up, so a three-star license is worth more than those four rewards added together. It does not say by how much.

Each stage sets two tasks at once. One is always a hidden item you have to walk to and pick up yourself, and it only appears in the world once you have the task. The other varies — killing a specific enemy, reaching a wave in Zaban Rush, spending Yen, collecting an item. Nothing you did before accepting counts, so both start from zero.

The rest is quality of life, and the useful ones are: an Auto Spawn toggle on the Z City boss that keeps resummoning it about two seconds after each death and carries on while you farm elsewhere, stopping itself when you run out of keys; a search bar on the Exchange that matches both sides of a trade and accepts a world number or name, so typing 14 or tempest both work; Equip Best now handing your pet accessories to the right pets and applying the whole lineup at once instead of one pet at a time; and a new gacha, Humanity Arsenal, in Titan Wall (World 4).

The economy changes are in a second post, not the changelog. Twenty-five minutes after publishing the notes, the game owner added a short follow-up headed extra content I forgot to add to the change log — and it holds the changes most likely to affect how you play. Shadows got easier to catch and likelier to come out Divine. Merchant foods were cut from 20,000 to 5,000 and from 25,000 to 6,250, and now last ten minutes instead of five — exactly four times cheaper for twice as long. Treasure Hunter upgrades cost less, three more Hero Tests were added, and the Exchange now takes Ki Evolution Token and Flame Token. Anything built from the first post alone is missing all of it.

What Update 11 changed

The experience's own title currently reads [NEW RARITY] Anime Astral Simulator. Astral Team puts the headline feature in that bracket and changes it each update, so a new rarity tier is the studio's own framing of what Update 11 added.

The game's badge list dates that precisely. Badges are created by the developer and carry the date they were made, so they act as a changelog the studio did not mean to publish. Four of them — World 12 through World 15 — were created on 22 August 2026, the day Update 11 opened, while Worlds 1 to 11 all date from 23 July. That is the new map the event listing promised, and it is four worlds, not one.

Two more badges share that 22 August date: First Pet Astral! and First Gacha Astral! The new rarity is called Astral, it applies to both pets and gacha pulls, and the name comes from the studio rather than from anyone's guess.

Still not confirmed: where Astral sits relative to Divine. Community walkthroughs from launch day say it outranks Divine, which is plausible given the game already had a First Divine! badge back in July — but a badge name is not a rarity table, and Astral Team has not published one. Treat the ranking as unverified.

Codes

Every version in both tables above shipped with codes, and the studio posts them in a #codes channel in its own Discord on the day of the update. How soon varies more than you would expect: two minutes after the event opened for Update 11, two hours and six minutes for Update 11.5. They are listed in full on the codes page, filed by the update each one shipped with, along with the ones Astral Team has since retired.

Check this yourself

None of the above needs to be taken on trust, and it should not be. Open the experience page on Roblox, look under Events below the play button, and press See More. Every scheduled update is there with its own date, under the same titles used in the table above.

Expect to find finished updates still sitting there too — the feed keeps them for a while and we have not worked out the rule. On 26 August it was still listing Update 9.5 from the 11th, fifteen days old, as active. The schedule table here drops a version once the next one ships, so if you see rows on Roblox that are not here, those are the ones: look for them further down in the archive instead.

If a row here ever disagrees with what that page shows, the Roblox listing is right and this page is stale — tell us and it gets fixed the same day.

The day the game moved

Anime Astral Simulator's Roblox page says the experience was created on 14 July 2026. That date is real but it is not the launch — the game had already shipped thirteen versions by then. Astral Team re-uploaded it to a new experience that day, and the old one, place 113236157544232, is the link the studio printed in its own Update 1 notes back in June.

Three things make the move visible rather than assumed. The Update 8.5 notes state it outright — data migration from the old game's experience was switched off on 4 August. A patch three weeks earlier mentions players stuck on a migration screen. And the codes issued the day after the move read 2MVISITSNEW and LIKES3KNEW, because the visit and like counters had restarted from zero while the old experience was already past forty million visits.

It matters here for one reason: any site that reads the launch date off the Roblox API will tell you this game is younger than it is, and will have nowhere to put Updates 1 through 5.5. The archive above starts on 30 May 2026, the date of the studio's own release post.
